Andover has been playing lacrosse since 1882. We compete against some of the nation's top programs, including members of the Eight Schools Association, the Founders League, and the ISL. The varsity team begins its season by traveling to Naples, Florida with Trilogy Lacrosse during spring break. Each season culminates with New England’s oldest rivalry game against Phillips Exeter. Andover has won the last three, 15-6 in 2024, 8-7 in OT in 2025 and 13-12 in 2026 thanks to a goalie goal.

The program's core values are positivity, selflessness, and creativity. Our program lives the Non Sibi motto. Respect is a requirement, not an expectation. Our players care deeply for the program, their teammates, and their community. They hold themselves to a higher standard in all that they do.

Andover has a tradition of producing some of the nation's finest Division I, II, and III lacrosse players. Our athletes have gone on to compete at Duke, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, Tufts, Bates, Williams, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Princeton, and many others. Many have continued playing at the professional level in the MLL, NLL, and PLL. Currently Ryder Garnsey '15 plays for the Redwoods and Zach Geddes '18 plays for the Outlaws. Andover is very proud of our lacrosse alumni and their accomplishments on and off the field.
