James Beaudoin
Head Coach
Coach Beaudoin has spent over 20 seasons coaching and teaching at the high school level, public and private, including Hampton Roads Academy, Chase Collegiate, Proctor Academy, and at Cohasset High School. He has amassed over 225 career wins and was named Boston Globe Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2018 and US Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2009 for all Western New England private schools. He was also the Vice President of the New England Secondary School Lacrosse Association from 2010 to 2012. Coach Beaudoin has coached 17 All-Americans and 9 Academic All-Americans. He has won 2 Massachusetts state championships and 3 Western New England championships during his time as a head coach.
Coach Beaudoin is committed to supporting his players both on and off the lacrosse field. His players are taught to care deeply about each part of their Andover experience. He is continually inspired by the incredible traditions at Andover and looks forward to building on that solid foundation for the future of Andover boys’ lacrosse.
Coach Beaudoin grew up on the campus of Proctor Academy (Andover, NH) prior to enrolling at the University of Vermont where he competed as a goalkeeper on the Catamount men’s lacrosse team. He lives in Andover with his wife, Monica, their 3 sons, Grayson, Wells, and Tillman, and their two Bernese Mountain dogs, Murdock and Brodie.
