(Andover, MA) -- During the preliminaries of the 2023 New England Championships, Andover Seniors broke three School Records--out of only eight individual swimming events!

First up, Theo Randall, who began his Andover career as a member of the Junior Varsity Team, swam 20.43 in the 50 Freestyle breaking Max Hunger's '20 record of 20.67 set in 2020.

When he visited campus as an 8th grader, Marcel Liu approached Lance Freiman '19 and told him he wanted to one day break Lance's School Record in the 100 Fly of 47.99. Today, Marcel did just that: 47.85.

As a 9th grader, Christopher Xia went faster than the New England Record in the 100 meter Breaststroke only to have Arnold Su '20 go a bit faster. Last year, he broke Arnold's record. Today, Christopher broke the School Record in the 100 Breaststroke by swimming 55.45. This surpasses Yubo Jin's '21 record of 55.53 set in 2020.
