(Gwangju, Korea) – At the 2019 FINA World Swimming Championships, Andrew Wilson ’12 placed 6th in each of his individual events.

In the 100 Breaststroke, Andrew attained a best time of 58.95 in the semifinals. This time makes Andrew the 3rd-fastest American in history. He is currently ranked 6th in the world for 2019.

In the 200 Breaststroke, Andrew again achieved a best time during the semifinals: 2:07.86. Ten days later in Tokyo, he swam 2:07.77, which makes Andrew the 5th-fastest American ever. He is currently ranked 8th in the world.

Andrew also teamed up with Olympic Gold Medalists Ryan Murphy, Caeleb Dressel, and Nathan Adrian in the 4x100 Medley Relay, which placed 2nd behind Great Britain. On the relay, he split 58.65.
