Andover Girls Take Top Five Places at SPS Invitational
Traveling to the beautiful Concord, NH trails of St. Paul's School, GXC took the win in commanding fashion against SPS and Austin Prep.
After a focused warm-up, GXC led from the gun, taking the first five places with brilliant, strong running in their front pack. Storrie Kulynych-Irvin ('24) took the lead early and didn't look back, winning the race with an impressive run. Emma Hagstrom ('25) was next in for Big Blue, finishing with a confident, speedy last 800m. Tara Menon ('26) and Anya Budzinski ('26) followed in short succession with two great races--and another PR for Menon. Chloe Song ('26) rounded out the Andover five, continuing her inspiring racing this season. Those five finished 1-5 overall to seal the win for GXC.
Among many other strong races for the Andover girls, there were notable personal best times from Aimee Qi ('27), Olivia Isacson ('26), Angela Guo ('27), Camille Davis ('27), Evie Wood ('25), and Maddie Fletcher ('27). Continuing the strong racing, the girls' JV team also finished first among the three competing teams.
