Volleyball GV at Dana Hall

Gratitude to Dana Hall for hosting us for the opening of our season. We barely squeaked by in the first game dye to your exceptional blocking. Wishing you all the best for the season.

PAVB - missing two starters and compensating for half the team being new. Add shortened practices (heat protocol) and cancelled practice (violent thunderstorm and loss of power) and we had our work cut out for us - especially communication.

A loud gym, different style of ball (serves floated long) and a HUGE Dana Hall block were some factors to our slow start, but most of it was a lack of rhythm we did not create ourselves until the last points of the first set.

A good start for PAVB. We look forward to traveling to Taft to play Taft and Hotchkiss next Saturday.
