Squash GV at Groton School Tournament

w 23-11

Andover Girls Varsity Squash plays in Groton Invitational

Girls V Squash participated in the annual Groton Invitational Tournament on Dec 10th vs Brooks, Tabor, Choate, Exeter, Nobels, Groton, and St Georges. We played 34 best of 3 matches and came in with strong winning record of 23-11. Most girls won at least 3 of their 4 assigned matches. The day was topped off with fierce match of Andover #1 Christina Yen vs the Tabor #1. The Tabor player barely escaped with the win 11-9, 9-11, 12-10. Christina showed grit coming back from several points down in the 3rd and it would have been very interesting if it was best of 5 match. The event gave us a good look at our competition for the season and very full day of match play and team bonding. Come watch us play St George's on Dec 13th 3:45
