True team effort leads to 4-1 win Versus Austin Prep

GVS bounced back from a disappointing result on Monday for a strong, 4-1 win on Phelps Stadium versus Austin Prep stretching their record to 4-3. Captain Emily Mara '25 led the way with a hat trick and a first half assist to Wylie Roossien '26.

Andover stayed focused on maintaining possession and creating waves of attack putting much pressure on the AP defenders. Mura Daisley '26 and Ginny Marshall '25 inspired their teammates on the wings while midfielders Lola Aguirre, Lauren Herlihy, Hayden Fischer, Hannah Surrette, and Wylie Roossien did a great job box to box.

A special shout out to 9th grade keeper Jackie Dill who earned her first GVS minutes in the final 15 minutes of play and making a strong save in the first 45 seconds on the field. GK Jill Reichenbach '24 left the game without conceding a goal and earned her third shutout of the season.

Emily Mara's offensive efforts earned Player of the Game.
