Soccer GJV1 vs Pingree

Battle of Unbeaten Teams

Yesterday, a clash of titans occurred at Kate's Field as the unbeaten and unscored on Pingree Highlanders came to Andover ready to play. The Highlanders struck first and took a 1-0 lead into halftime. But the JV1 girls soccer team would not give up. They dug deep and played the second half with heart and grit and were able to tie it up when Isabel Park beat the skilled keeper with a low hard shot scoring the first girl that the Pingree side have conceded. All in all, it was a great game, lots of action, and two really skilled teams competing!
