Soccer GJV1 vs Governor's Academy

Solid Team Effort Continues 4 Game Unbeaten Streak

After falling behind 0-1 in the first 5 minutes of the game, the Andover JV1 players rallied back netting 4 unanswered goals to win 4-1 at Graves field. Michela Rowland '24 was solid in net with 9 saves on the afternoon. Solid defensive play by Christina Chan '24 and central midfield Neicia Smith '25 held the Governor players at bay. Offensive contributions were made by the entire team as all 4 goals were scored by different players (Cardinale '25, Cratty '24, Marshall '24, and Mechegia '24) and assists came from all over the field (Cardinale '25, Vega '24, and Song '26). The team next plays at NMH on Saturday 10/22 hoping to continue the momentum of a 4 game unbeaten streak.
