Heidi Wall ’94

Head Coach

Coach Wall graduated from Phillips Academy in 1994. While at Andover she lettered in field hockey, swimming, and lacrosse. Wall was a member of the Big Blue squads that claimed the New England Field Hockey Championship in 1993 and AISGA Championship in Lacrosse in 1993 and 1994.

She continued her lacrosse career at Amherst College, where she served as team captain and was awarded both Academic and Regional All-American honors. She helped Amherst win back-to-back ECAC Championships in 1997 (the program's first title) and 1998. Coach Wall finished her career as the school's second all-time leading scorer with 171 points, and first in career goals with 129.

Her coaching career began at North Yarmouth Academy where she was head varsity coach of both field hockey and lacrosse from 2001-2005. Her lacrosse team was Western Maine Regional Champions in 2004 and 2005, and State Championship Runner’s Up 2004, 2005. Wall was also the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Shady Side Academy from 2013-2014 when the team finished as runner's up in WPIAL Division 1.

Wall returned to Andover in 2014 as a member of the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. She lives on campus with her two sons and husband in Bancroft House. She assumed head coaching responsibilities for the lacrosse program in 2018.​

Taylor Ware

Assistant Coach

Coach Ware joined the Phillips Academy lacrosse program when she began her tenure at Andover in 2015. Prior to that, she was an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Brooks School and has made time to coach her daughter’s teams through the Andover Youth Services programs since 2013 as well. A collegiate athlete in both field hockey and lacrosse, Coach Ware was a member of Dartmouth College’s 1995 Ivy League Championship lacrosse team, which also made a Final Four appearance that same season. On campus, Coach Ware is an Associate Director of College Counseling and the 12th-grade course head for our Empathy, Balance, and Inclusion program where she utilizes her background as a clinical social worker as well.
