Hockey GV vs Loomis Chaffee School

3 Goal third period completes comeback win for the Big Blue

Looking to avenge a 1-0 loss in the PKO tournament back in December, GVH hosted a fast and talented Loomis team in Harrison Arena. Loomis got on the board first with 1:09 to play in the first period, but Molly Boyle '25 tied up the game with just 35 seconds later with the assist going to Keira Bruen '26. Loomis once again took the lead at the very start of the second period, but the Andover squad battled back with 3 goals in the third period to secure a 4-2 victory. (Goals to Caroline Averill '26 and Emily Mara (2) with assists by Maggie Averill '27 (2), Molly Boyle '25, and Maggie Averill '26. Avery Rodeheffer '25 had another tremendous game in net for the Blue with 12 saves. Next up for GVH is the final regular season game against Exeter at noon on Saturday.
