Hat trick secures the win

Andover’s JV Field Hockey brought the Andover spirit to their second away game of the season. Playing on turf for the first time in a while, the team started off slow, but by the second quarter Abi N.‘27 scored the first of her three goals, and the team found their groove. In the second half Abi took the ball up the field multiple times, scoring twice more in the process. Andover also put up a commendable defensive performance. Pushed into a defensive position in the last quarter, Andover held their ground, with goalie Cat P. ‘28, who had 16 saves today, putting on an amazing performance, saving multiple attempted goals in flurries, and even diving twice to ensure a save. Overall, Andover showed control and passion tonight, with both a stellar offense and a solid defense.
