Strong game with exciting 4th quarter

Andover’s JV Field Hockey put on an exciting performance today against BB&N! Andover started off incredibly strong, with Abi N. ‘27 scoring right out the gate not even a minute into the game. BB&N reciprocated the energy with a goal of their own late in the same quarter, leading both teams into an intense stalemate for most of the game. With Andover both shooting and blocking some very close shots, it seemed the score’s balance would tip at any moment. And it did when, late into the fourth quarter just before the game ended, Meghan M. ‘28 broke the stalemate with a goal assisted by Abi, ending the game with a 2-1 win.
