The JV field hockey team is a dynamic part of Andover's entire field hockey program. While many students come from middle school field hockey programs, all students in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades who are interested in the sport are welcome to try out. We average a 14-game season, which ends in a game with our biggest rival, Phillips Academy Exeter. While we mostly practice on grass, we do play several games on turf, and we have many opportunities to practice on PA's turf fields as well. Throughout the term, a focus on physical conditioning, stick work, game sense, and teamwork form the core of the JV experience.
