5 wrestlers pin to secure win over Avon Old Farms

On Saturday Big Blue traveled to Tabor Academy for the Bidstrup Duals, where they competed against Avon Old Farms, Loomis Chaffee, and Northfield Mount Hermon. Andover wrestled against Avon Old Farms first. Arnav Bhakta ’22 started the dual meet off with an exciting 13-5 major decision; Macsen Elkouh ’22 followed up with a pin, and Miles Palmer ’23 scored a last minute 8-5 victory over his opponent. Colin Nugent ’23, Riggs McGrath ’21, Eamon Garrity-Rokous ’20, and Thomas Radzik ’20 all contributed with pins of their own, and the final score was 49-30.
