Andover wins first home dual meet of the season with 5 pins
Andover won their first home dual meet of the season against Wilbraham & Monson Academy with five pins from the Big Blue wrestlers. Miles Palmer ’23 bumped up a weight class and started off the meet with a first period pin. While we lost the next bout, Andover followed up with 2 more pins from Ben Forman ’23 and Somen Chakrabortti ’22. Connor Klein ’22 had an exciting match at 195 lbs- he was winning 5-4 before he pinned his opponent in the second period. There were several forfeits, and Arnav Bhakta ’22 won the last match with a second period pin against a tough opponent. When we return from break, we host Choate and Nobles on Saturday January 8.
