Andover drops season opener to tough St. Paul's team

Andover dropped their season opener 36-48 to a challenging St. Paul's team. Highlights of the meet were a riveting first period pin from lower George Ryckman (120 lbs) in his high school wrestling debut, and an exciting come-from-behind pin for upper Miles Palmer (138 lbs), that shot Andover into the team lead 36-30. Unfortunately it was the last match that Andover won that meet, and St. Paul's pulled ahead 36-48.

In Exhibition matches, Wendi Zheng '24 had an exciting pin over a formidable opponent. Bodhi Beroukhim '25 and Charles Vest '25 were also able to earn pins on the day.
