Andover Runs Ahead of Choate at Home

BXC took on Choate in Andover in their first home meet of the season, and after a difficult week of training, Big Blue ran to excellent results against the Wild Boars.

Looking assured and confident, Jakob Kuelps ('25) and Luke Williamson ('25) paced the pack, finishing 1-2 with strong team running on the Great Lawn. Following closely behind, Max Huang ('24) stormed through the finish line with his strongest kick of the season. Next in, Arun Kapoor ('25) lowered his PR on the home course with a stellar performance from the gun. Close behind, classmate Sebastian Lemberger ('25) took fifth for Big Blue and fifth overall with a PAXC course personal best run. Captain Avin Ramratnam ('24), followed by the dynamic duo of Luke Francis ('25) and Robert Budzinski ('26), were next across the line, and Vance Fabrizio ('24) and Charlie Gillick ('27) rounded out the top ten for PA.

Of the 44 Andover competitors, 21 made their PAXC home course debuts and 18 others lowered their home course personal best times. It was a great day all around for Big Blue.

Next weekend, PAXC travels to the autumnal splendor that is St. Paul's incredible home course.
