This weekend, BV Wopo competed for victory in a double header— first against Westminster, then against Deerfield. After jumping into the pool, Andover quickly gained on Westminster. In the first 30 seconds of the game, Max Hunger ‘20 pulled a far 5 meter shot. Later, Captain Sam Donchi ‘20 scored a goal, ending the first quarter with a score of 9-1 Andover. As the game went on, Andover continually showed strength in their teamwork and communication. In the following quarters, Beckett McKee ‘22 scored two goals in two minutes, and Gregor Deveau ‘21 and Mathis Weber ‘20 and Jack Murphy ‘20 scored shots. In the end, the team won against Westminster, 19-3.

As well as playing Westminster, Wopo faced off against Deerfield in a double header! While the team was worn out from their win against Westminster, they were ready to put up a fight. Gregor Deveau ‘20 made use of his strong shot, scoring 20 seconds into the game. A minute later, Theo Faugeres ‘21 secured another goal, after which Max Hunger ‘20 scored four consecutive goals, ending quarter 1 winning, 5-1. As the game continued, Andover continued to run up the score with Sam Donchi ‘20 bagging three consecutive shots. In the end, our froggies emerged victorious, winning 16-3.
