St. Sebastian's came to Andover on a cold rainy New England day. Although the day was dreary, the match was anything but.

Andover opened the scoring 5 minutes in from a cannon of a shot 30 yards out by Mark Nelson. Mid way through the half St. Sebs found the equalizer in a poor defensive scramble.

Spencer Madge moved Andover forward with a brilliant volley, only to see that lead diminish from a well taken corner.

Both teams were knotted up 2-2 going into the second half. Andover went right after the second half match. Both teams battled hard - but it was Kai Myles who moments earlier was fouled at the edge of the box - found the end of the cross to score the game winner.

“St. Seb’s was a class act and a well organized and coached team, they really made us work hard for this. The lads did a good job finding the result we needed. I do think I have some more grey hair after that match!” -coach Donnelly

Andover has a busy week with two more matches on Wednesday and Friday.
