Andover met Exeter in the local school derby. The match had all the hallmarks of a historic derby. Andover took the lead 1-0 from a brilliant Kai Myles goal. Exeter tied the match up with an equally brilliant header to enter the half 1-1.

The second half was a battle between both schools with goals called back for off sides, penalties missed, and Exeter receiving a hand full of yellow cards and one red.

Ultimately the scored remained knotted at 1 a piece. While the fans were left wanting more.

“This had everything a proper derby should have - goals, cards, fans screaming, horns blowing, and both teams going after it. I couldn’t have asked for more from the lads - they left everything they had out there in the pitch.” - coach Donnelly

Andover awaits the selection process for the New England tournament.
