Andover Loses to St. Paul's

The boys JV1 soccer team lost a well played match against St. Paul's up in Concord NH. The boys in blue played very well and created many good chances to score. In the first half Aiden Lin played a scintillating through ball to Josh Park just outside the penalty area and Josh struck the ball well, unleashing an excellent shot, but the St. Paul's goalkeeper made a fine save. Later in the half Andrew Beckwith did great work and forced the defenders to foul him in the penalty are. Lin stepped up and cooly placed the PK in the left hand corner. Throughout the game Corey McCormack and Nolan Sun were rock solid at center back. Charles Dolan made a fine save in goal late in the game. Max Guan played a strong game in the midfield.
