Seniors lead Big Blue to Defining Victory
The senior class of Anderson, Robertson-Palmer, Militello, Skowronek, Han and Sabre were stellar in the great victory over perennial powerhouse Cushing.
Captain Robertson-Palmer started the scoring with a dashing drive up the middle of the ice and found the net around the 5 minute mark. Militello's wrap around goal gave the boys a two goal lead. New lower Kieran McIntosh rifled a bullet to the upper corner to make it 3-0. Han and Robertson-Palmer won a ferocious board battle late in the contest and got the puck to lower Alex Theodore who scored on the empty net. Sabre and Skowronek led the back end and goaltender Anderson turned in a scintillating performance stopping 38 of 39 Cushing snipes. At one point, without his stick and Cushing having a two man advantage, he stopped a flurry of shots from the buzzing opponent. A great opening victory.https://neutralzone.com/prep-b...
