Boys' Swimming - Eastern Champs, Again & Wrestling Has 2 New England Champs!
Big Blue swimming & diving (pictured above) teams/coaches traveled to Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster PA from Thursday to Sunday evening to participate the premier prep swimming and diving meet in the country, Easterns Interscholastic (est. 1935).
In an incredible showing, the Andover boys captured their third consecutive championship title, our girls’ team earned an impressive 7th place finish and the combined scores of our two programs secured a 2nd place overall finish at this inspiring event. Two of MANY highlights include senior Pippin Kantakom for setting a New England and School record in the 100 breast (54.13)! Senior Ariana Zhao finished an impressive third in the 100 fly in the Easterns final! Congrats to all our swimmers and divers for their stunning success all weekend long.

WRESTLING EXCELS AT NEW ENGLANDS!
Phillips Exeter played host for the 2025 New England championship on Friday and Saturday.
Andover captains Dani Nugent ‘25 and Julian Rios ‘26 (pictured, top) were named Outstanding Wrestler in the girls’ and prep divisions, respectively, as voted on by NEPSAC coaches.
HISTORY MAKER: Dan Nugent is also the first girl in NEPSAC history to be a 4-time New England Prep Champion.

PATF (Andover Track and Field) hosted the annual NEPSAC All-Comers Meet with over 350 participants on Saturday afternoon. As always, there were countless highlights on the day including Bennett Rodgers ‘26 setting a new Snyder record in the pole vault (14 feet) and Caitlin Ly ‘27 setting a school record in the 55m (7.21)

Earlier this week, XC captain Tam Gavenas ‘25 was named Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2nd consecutive year!
Nordic skiing hosted our first HOME ski race in Siberia in OVER TWENTY YEARS! Shout out to Keith Robinson, Mika Latva-Koko, and Rebecca Bowers for all your work to set the course and set up the perfect tone on an awesome and chilly Wednesday afternoon. Congrats to the top Andover Nordic finishers: relay team, Sage Preston & Lauren Montgomery and Luke Williamson & Noah Binkowski. Shout out to Andrés Clarimond ’27 for his inspiring efforts and performance in his FIRST-ever nordic ski race as well. Thanks to Paresky for providing the hot chocolate!
Congrats to JV boys’ hockey, coached by Matt Lisa and Pete Dignard, on leading their team to a successful week with wins against KUA (4-0) and Governors (5-3). Goalkeeper Edouard Lord ‘26 was brilliant in goal for both games and Ethan Xu ‘28 notched his first goal of the season in the Govs victory!

Girls’ squash, coached by Shaun Duffy and captained by Migyu Kim and Ellie Israelov, who find themselves ranked FIFTH in the nation as they prepare to travel to Philadelphia in the weekend ahead.
