While the spring athletic season does not have the traditional NEPSAC post-season tournaments of the fall and winter for all its sports, it certainly doesn't lack for either competition or excitement.
With the spring edition of the annual Andover-Exeter weekend clash on the horizon, this weekend is packed with tournament competition for nine different Big Blue squads. Andover is honored to play host to three of the tournaments.
Undefeated Girls' Tennis is the defending champion and enters the 2026 NEPSAC Class A tournament as the #1 seed and host. Quarterfinal and semifinal play are scheduled for the weekend of May 16-17th, on Andover's varsity tennis courts, starting at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, when Andover will play #8, Buckingham Browne & Nichols. Semifinal match play is scheduled for 2:30 P.M on Saturday. The championship match will be on Sunday, with an 11:00 A.M. scheduled start time. See the tournament bracket here.
Undefeated Girls' Lacrosse, currently ranked 4th in the nation, looks to defend its Prep Cup championship at this year's tournament. All games will be played at Dexter Southfield. Andover's first contest is vs. Dexter Southfield on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 A.M., with subsequent games tbd. LIVESTREAM
Undefeated Softball will once again co-host with Brooks for the Big East Tournament, in which BB&N, Lawrence, Milton, Exeter, St. Paul's, and Nobles will also be competing on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17th. As the #1 seed, Andover begins play at home on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. against #8 Exeter. Big Blue's second game on Saturday will be at 11:30 A.M., with Sunday's schedule tbd. LIVESTREAM
Girls' & Boys' Track & Field will travel to Choate Rosemary Hall on Saturday, May 16th, to compete in this year's NEPSTA Division 1 Championships (a.k.a. "Interschols"). More information, including live results, will be available here. Competition begins at 10:30 A.M. with field events. LIVESTREAM
Girls' Water Polo is hosting this year's NEPSAC Championship (bracket) and is competing as the 4th seed. Big Blue faces #5 Deerfield in quarterfinal play at 10:00 A.M. LIVESTREAM
After their quarterfinal win over Cushing yesterday, Baseball will be at Dexter Southfield on Saturday, May 16th, for a 1:00 P.M. CNEPSBL Tournament semifinal clash.
