Trey Brown '12 is familiar to many on campus, whether it be as a former Andover student, an admission counselor, a complimentary house counselor in French House, or as the head football coach. However, few members of the community likely know about the impact that repeated injuries had on Brown's football career, or the important role that Interim Head of School, Jim Ventre '79 has played as a mentor.

A new piece in the Boston Globe details the impact that Brown's time at Andover, and injuries, have had on his view of life "beyond the gridiron", but also how he has never wavered in his commitment to the sport as a teammate, and now coach.
