After completing an undefeated regular season, girls' varsity tennis earned the number one seed in the New England Prep Class A tournament see bracket below).
The Hotchkiss School served as host for the tournament quarter and semifinal rounds on Saturday, May 20th. Andover extended their strong regular season play into the postseason, cruising through to the finals with 5-0 wins over BB&N and Greenwich Academy.
On Sunday, Andover hosted the third-seeded Hoosac School in the championship match. Andover hosted last year's championship as well but ended up as runners-up. This year the Big Blue prevailed, defeating a strong Hoosac side, 5-1.
The title win was the fourth that girls' varsity tennis has won in the last ten years.
