(Tokyo, Japan) – Based on his performances in the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Swimming Championships in Irvine, California and at the 2018 Pac Pacific Swimming Championships in Tokyo, Japan, Andover-alum Andrew Wilson ’12 will represent the United States at the 2019 FINA World Swimming Championships in Gwangju, Korea.​

Also at the Pan Pacs, Wilson joined Olympic Gold Medalists Ryan Murphy, Caeleb Dressel, and Adrian Nathan to win the 400 Medley Relay in 3:30.20, the fastest time in the world this year.

In the individual events, Wilson is currently ranked 7th in the world in the 100 Breaststroke (59.19) and 10th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:08.52).
