Andover moves to 4-0 with win over St. Pauls

The sun shone for the Andover boys' first home match outdoors, and spirits were high. In doubles play, the team played with energy and precision. Jeff Shen and Jacob Pletka started the boys off with an 8-0 victory in #2 doubles. Chase Burke and Ben Shin had a similarly successful match, winning 8-4 in #1 doubles and securing the doubles point. Kian Burt and Jeremy Liao also played successfully in #3 doubles, winning 8-4 against a strong St. Pauls duo.

The Andover boys maintained the energy as singles play began. Shin had a perfect match in #4 singles, bringing started the team off with a high. Shen only dropped one game in #2 singles, and Jacob only two, clinching the win for Andover. Burke played another strong match and won 6-2, 6-1 in #1 singles. Kevin Niu and Avery Zheng played excellent matches as well, earning wins in #5 and #6 singles, respectively.
