Andover defeats Belmont Hill on way to 5-0 start

On a breezy Friday afternoon, the Andover boys tennis team played an exciting match against Belmont Hill. Jeff Shen and Jacob Pletka started off doubles play with an 8-2 win in #2 doubles. Kevin Niu and Avery Zheng then played with incredible chemistry, clinching the doubles point for the team with another 8-2 win.

In singles play, Pletka had a perfect match against Belmont Hill's #3. Shortly after, Ben Shin played with calm and skill, winning 6-0, 6-1 in #4 singles. Shen secured the victory for Andover with a 6-0, 6-2 win in #2 singles. Chase Burke fought hard in #1 singles, winning the first set 6-3 and dropping the second. In a nail-biting tiebreaker, Burke eventually fell 10-6 to an impressive opponent.

The boys record is 5-0.
