Soccer BJV3 at Pike School

Lost a Close Match, Record now Stands at 2-2

Phillips Academy traveled locally to the Pike School and lost a close match 2-0. The offense had trouble finding space to create chances. Keepers Bruce McLaren and Cyrus Law each had dramatic saves—McLaren diving and getting a hand on a rocket of a shot in the first half and Law aggressive coming out to deflect a shot on a breakaway in the second half. Sahi Kathika, Mak Matsuzawa, Basil Kington, and Javier Gomez-Amuedo played well on the back line and all of their teammates contributed to the effort. The team’s record now stands at 2-2.
