A Beautiful Fall Game with Goals a Plenty
The young men of the academy produced a clinical game against local team Brookwood, comfortably winning 6-0. Their unselfish play and nice passing combos were simply too good for the opposition.
Brady Nelson set the tone for the match early on by blasting a near post shot into the top corner, neatly assisted by Sam Frangakis in the midfield. Some fancy footwork and a curling finish would see Brady get his second to open the second half, assisted by Teo Choi. Rayyan Saddiq completed a hattrick with a solo run and finish to make it 5-0 after having scored in the 6th and 27th minutes, assists coming from Caleb Beroukhim and Teo Choi. The play of the game came as Teo Choi slotted home a brilliant through ball by teammate Nico Bennet.
Additionally, goalkeepers Bruce McLaren and Cyrus Law did well to hold the clean sheet. Fortune Udeh and Jonathon Oh also played well down the wings. After courteously thanking the opponent and officials, the team performed a Cristiano Ronaldo inspired celebration to cap off a wonderful fall game.
