7 Personal Bests, 4 Meet Records, 1 All-American Swim in Great Meet Between Championships
(Exeter, NH) – Eleven days after the Eastern Championships, Andover returned to the pool.
Navigating the three weeks between championship meets is complicated, and Andover performed well throughout the day with seven personal best times, four meet records, and one All-American swim.
One highlight of the day was the 400 Free Relay. Rather than swim the event in freestyle, Andover swam the event as medley relays, which gave everyone something new to try within the high-school program.
The prime highlight of the day, however, was simply the fact that the competition marked the final dual meet for the historic Class of 2020: Johann Asmus Leon, Sam Donchi, Brandon Garcia, Max Hunger, Anthony Minickiello, Arnold Su, and Riku Tanaka.
