GXC Takes Wins at NMH Quad Meet
GXC traveled to the beautiful NMH campus to take on Deerfield, Exeter, Choate, and the host team and came away with wins against each.
Andover took 1-2-3 for the second meet in a row with very strong running up front. Emma Hagstrom ('25) paced the PA pack, finishing in first with an excellent closing 1000m. Next in, Storrie Kulynych-Irvin ('24) followed Hagstrom with another strong performance to take second, and Anya Budzinski ('26) had an outstanding closing kick to take third. Tara Menon ('26) toughed out the NMH hills to race to a sixth place overall finish, and Chloe Song ('26) battled through the difficult NMH course to finish just outside the top ten overall. Andover's fast-running first-year, Aimee Qi ('27), continued her tear as PA's sixth, and Edy Leach ('25) rounded out PA's top seven with an assured run.
On the JV side, Angela Guo ('27) paced PA to take second overall. She was followed by Alison Schneider ('26), Camille Davis ('27), and Lauren Montgomery ('25), who all proved that they were "tougher than the course" on this Saturday.
