Volleyball GV at B. B. & N.

Andover 2 -BBN 3 (25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 19-25, 9-15)

Congratulations to the Knights for ganging in there and taking advantage of opportunities. The first sets were hard-fought back-and-forth volleys, with the advantage tipping in Andover’s favor.

The third set, though similarly in cadence to sets one and two ended decisively for BB&N because the Knights made fewer errors and Andover did not make adjustments to BB&N’s defense.

As much as I give credit to the Knights for winning the fourth set, Andover made 10 service errors that tipped the balance to far.

Game 5 was never in doubt in favor of the Knights. Even though there were incredible highlight reel saves by Andover (and BB&N) that stretched rallies to multiple volleys, BB&N took the upper hand and did not let it go.

PAVB will rally to prepare for hosting Choate on Saturday.
