GVS falls short on the road to Worcester Academy
GVS traveled to Worcester Academy on a warm and sunny Wednesday afternoon - a change to the weather we all have been seeing as of late. After settling into the game plan, GVS created some exciting opportunities but it would be Worcester who capitalized on theirs to keep the game out of reach.
GK Jill Reichenbach '24 had some notable saves while the entire defense: Lily Keim, Kendall Toth, Ava Davey, Keaghan Murphy and Emily Decker did a great job holding an explosive Worcester offense at bay for most of the game.
Player of the Game was 9th grader Keaghan Murphy. Thank you to the Surrette family for our treats after the game and to all the parents and family members who made the trip - including our Sports Information Director David Fricke!
