GVS shines in 4-1 win on the Road versus St. Paul's
The Big Blue played their best game to date with a decisive 4-1 win on the road versus St. Paul's School. Keaghan Murphy '27 set the tone early blasting a shot with an assist from Lily Keim '25 at the 29th minute of the first half. Five minutes later, Wylie Roossien '26 sent a perfect through ball to captain Emily Mara '25 who stretched the lead to 2-0.
Andover extended their lead in the second half with a fantastic header goal by Soph Dandawa '25 on a perfect set piece service from Kendall Toth '24. Wylie kept the game out of reach with a blast from well outside the 18 with fifteen minutes to play.
Every GVS player available played valuable minutes as the team continues to improve as they round the second half of their season. Keaghan Murphy was named Player of the Game. Shout out to goalkeeper Jill Reichenbach who left the pitch without conceding any goals and a huge shout out to to 9th grade goalkeeper Jackie Dill who gained more game experienced in the final 15 minutes of play.
