GVS tops Class A Nobles squad, 3-1

In the final game of the season on Graves Field, GVS stepped up for an impressive 3-1 win over perennial ISL power, Noble and Greenough. The first half of play saw back-and-forth play with Andover finding their way to the scoreboard first at the 29th minute on a free kick from Keaghan Murphy. Keaghan's dangerous ball found senior Mura Daisley for the score.

As expected, Nobles came out of the 2nd half gates with determination and tied the game up at the 48th minute. Once again, Keaghan Murphy's free kick proved dangerous as senior Sarah Powers put the ball past the Nobles keeper to retake the lead. Co-captain Wylie Roossien '26 secured the win in the final five minutes of play with a perfectly crossed ball to Powers at the top of the six. Powers two goals and inspired play earned her Player of the Game.
