GVS wraps up regular season with 4-0 victory v. Exeter
Co-captain Wylie Roossien notched two goals and an assist to lead the Big Blue over Exeter, 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. Ninth grade midfield Emma Sharon put Andover on the score board at the 29th minute putting away a rebound from teammate Elizabeth Wodarski. Minutes later, co-captain Emily Decker found Wylie for the second score of the day bringing the team to halftime with a 2-0 lead.
Five minutes into the second half, Wylie found mid-field Ashley Dimnaku whose blast from 25 yards out beat the Exeter goalkeeper. Player of the Game Roossien kept the game out of reach with an unassisted goal in the 55th minute of play.
It was a great team effort and result that saw the entire roster find minutes on the field.
