Soccer GV at Tabor

Full-team effort leads GVS to 2-0 win over 2018 Class B champions Tabor Academy

GVS hit the road to Marion, MA on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon to take on Class B powerhouse Tabor Academy and reunite with our Team Prep Coach, Coach Sughrue! Isabella DiBenedetto struck a stunner of a free kick in the first half, bending the ball past the Tabor keeper to give the team momentum headed into intermission.

The second half of play saw tremendous, inspired team defensive efforts that led to numerous offensive runs. Anna Hurley kept the game out of reach as she beat her defenders and ripped a great shot from 18 yards out to secure the win.

Myra Bhathena '22 continues to wow as she has shown versatility on the flank and earned Player of the Game for her work as a defensive back.
