Andover GJV2 Soccer gets first win!
Andover GJV2 soccer faced Pingree at home and earned their first win of the season. Only 4 minutes into the first half, Andover got on the board with a goal by Hazel Cameron. Pingree answered with their own goal later in the half, but strong goaltending by Tess Lagerquist kept the score knotted at 1-1 in the first half. In the second half, Andover came out with consistent pressure and created numerous opportunities, connecting to score three goals in the first 10 minutes with Cameron getting her second goal and Julia Fox adding two goals. Sadie Pease stepped in at goalie and the defense of Sophia Donnelan, Monisha Kathika, Annabel Kim, Willa Koziol, and Tess Lagerquist kept Pingree bottled up in the second half. Andover is away at Brooks on Friday, looking to continue the strong play.
