Andover wins with a strong second half
Andover JV2 faced Exeter for the first time in recent history and came away with the win after a strong second half. Andover's Annabel Manzo scored first in the 14th minute. Just before halftime, Exeter's constant pressure resulted in the tying goal, leaving the teams knotted at the half. 15 minutes into the second half Nadine Carniaux scored with an assist from Mia Russell. In the last 15 minutes Andover found their offensive stride and tallied three more goals as Riya Shah, Mia Russell, and Annabel Manzo found the back of the net. The defense of Tiffanie An, Shifra Das, Caroline McGrath, Anastasie Sycheva, Chizara Nolisa, and Kamila Zapata Rendon helped fuel the turnaround in the second half by turning away the Exeter attack and efficiently feeding balls back up to the midfielders. Andover travels to Choate for their next game.
