Soccer GJV2 vs Loomis

Andover off to a strong start in season opener

The girls JV2 were off to a great start in their opening game against Loomis. They wasted no time getting on the board with 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. Scoring in the first half were Abby Andam (twice), Martina Gil-Diaz, and Cheryl Tugade. Chloe Mees and Annie Witt added two more goals in the second half. Loomis had their chances, but goalies Annie Witt and Amina Hurd kept Loomis scoreless with great saves on several breakaway opportunities. This was a team effort for the Big Blue with numerous players making an impact. Shreya Bajaj, Lucia Cartmell Toffoli, Ellie Cho, Sabrina Choudhri, Sabby Clemmons, Grace Hammond, Brooke Hannon, Kianna Jean-Francois, Emma Jing, Rici Samwer, Ameri Vest, and Elle Wayner all suited up and contributed to the win.
