JV1 Battles Back Against Pingree
After falling behind 2-0 in the first ten minutes of the game, the JV1 team showed character and resilience and answered shortly after to close the gap to 2-1 before halftime on an Ellie Patton goal. In the second half, they stepped up the relentless attack and scored on a beautiful set piece corner kick as Patton found Mila Rowe for the equalizer. The team nearly won the game several times if not for some spectacular saves by the Pingree goalkeeper. Veronica Lewis had a great second half to hold Pingree at just 2 goals.
