JV1 Girls Soccer Continues to Roll
The JV1 girls soccer team took a 2-0 lead and held on for the win at Brooks on Wednesday. Ela Budzinski struck first off the post and in against a stingy, talented Brooks goalkeeper. The girls went up 2-0 on a great set up goal finished by Ellie Patton. Ela Budzinski scored the reassurance goal on a tremendously gritty solo effort. The team heads to St. Paul's on Saturday. Audrey Baeten-Ruffo had 5 saves in net and the back line of Lilah Velez, Cat Smith and Mila Rowe continue to play stifling defense, allowing only 4 goals all season.
