Andover Softball Bats Stay Hot in Win at Pingree, 9-2
Coming off a big doubleheader sweep against Worcester, Andover stayed hot at the plate and strong defensively to get the win vs. Pingree. Lauren Mahoney '23 pitched very well, allowing only 2 runs (1 earned) over 7 innings. Offensively, a huge 2-run homer by Liv McManus '23 helped extend the lead in the 6th, and she ended the day with 3 RBIs. Andover also saw 3-hit games from Evalyn Lee '23, Kylie Frank '22, and Maris Moody '24. Frank had a big triple in the 1st inning and also knocked in three runs, while Fallon O'Connor '23 collected a pair of hits and 2 RBIs. Katie Morris '21 had 2 hits on the day, as well, while Sophia Eno '23 and Becca Carballal '24 had a hit apiece.
