Andover Tops Tilton in Extras, 7-6
In the season opener, Andover battled back from a 4-0 deficit after the 1st inning and a 6-3 deficit in the bottom of the 7th to come out on top over Tilton. Pitchers Myla Mexico '27 and Audrey Gotha '28 split the duties on the mound, holding the Rams to only 6 hits over 8 innings. Gaby Potter '27 delivered in the bottom of the 7th, blasting a 3-run home run to tie up the contest. Ava Davey '25 then knocked in the go ahead run in the 8th for the walk off victory. Mexico and Evie Wood '25 both notched a pair of hits, with Angie Ceballos Cardona '25, Rihana Gomez '26, and Madison Hugo '25 also collecting hits.
