Andover Claims Big East Title
For the second time in three years, Andover won the Big East Tournament. Co-hosted with Brooks, the tournament brings together 8 schools for a 2-day event. Despite losing their first game, Andover won the next 4. The team was led by the pitching dominance of Ashley Schuman '27, who was named the tournament MVP. Angie Ceballos Cardona '25 and Emerson Buckley '25 were also named to the All-Tournament team. In the championship game, Andover's offense put on a show, scoring 15 runs in 5 innings. Schuman went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI, while Buckley went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and Rihana Gomez '26 went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI. Cardona had a pair of hits, and Victoria MacKenzie contributed with a 2-run double.
