JV2 Lacrosse celebrates home opening win

What a fantastic start to the 2026 JV2 lacrosse season against an always talented Pike School.

This season, twelve girls committed to our JV2 season including a number of players who competed in their first ever lacrosse game on Monday - amazing! The JV2 team was excited to welcome back from last year's squad, Aria Carrizosa who was named co-captain for the day alongside our goalkeeper Kayla Lyons.

On this Monday v. Pike School, leading the way offensively were JV2 goal scorers Emma Sharon (1 goal), Lilah Velez (1 goal) and Carys Harvin (2 goals). Also netting goals for the Big Blue were Vivian Guerette and Tabitha Wei who allowed us to play 12 v 12. Lilah's dynamic play to goal, earning multiple 8-meter shots, earned her Offensive Player of the Game.

Shout-out to the impressive defensive play of Carys Harvin, Jayden Roos, and Niki Jovanovic as well as defensive player of the game, goalkeeper Kayla Lyons, who made numerous saves. Also standing out on both ends of the field were Ellie Patton, Tati Cepada and Anaya Sharma for their notable transition play and great field vision. Thank you to our dedicated team manager Maddie Soong as well as Ellie Baez who helped at the scorer's table. We can't wait to have Ellie and Nina back on the field soon.

Finally - thank you to all our fans who came to cheer us on.
